BENGALURU: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has invited bids to take up construction activity between Kundanahalli and Whitefield Metro stations.
In a notification uploaded on its website on Thursday, it has called for the construction of viaducts and stations for a 7.218 km elevated stretch. The stations involved are Kundanahalli, Vydehi Hospital, Sri Satya Sai Hospital, ITPL , Kadugodi, Ujwala Vidyalaya and Whitefield. The BMRCL has set a deadline of 27 months. It is slated to cost `666.12 crore.

Change in alignment

BMRCL has also made a modification in its Phase-II alignment and will construct a new Metro station after NICE Road on the Mysuru Road.
Metro had planned to erect the station above the median of the Mysuru Road but will now be constructing it on the right side of the road as the space is required by the National Highway of India in connection with the widening of the Mysuru-Bengaluru national highway.
