BENGALURU: The High Court on Thursday granted bail to film director Nagashekar and stunt choreographer Ravi Verma in the Maasti Gudi tragedy case.

The duo was arrested along with two others, after two actors -- Uday Raghav and Anil Kumar -- drowned in TG Halli Reservoir on November 7 while shooting for the climax scene of the film Maasti Gudi, using a helicopter.

The bail applications of Nagashekar and Ravi Verma were rejected by a local court in Ramanagara on November 21. Hence, they approached the High Court for bail.

Allowing the bail pleas, Justice Rathnakala ordered them to execute a bond for `1 lakh each and cooperate with the police in further investigation.
