BENGALURU: One second class sleeper coach has been added to the Kannur-Yesvantpur Express (Train no. 16528) from Thursday (December 21). The additional coach was also augmented when the Yesvantpur-Kannur Express (Train no. 16527) left Bengaluru on Wednesday.

According to an official release, this would be a permanent augmentation. The revised composition of the train would now be one AC 2-tier coach, two AC 3-tier coaches, 12 second class sleeper coaches, four general second class coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans with generator.

The Vasco da gama Kulem-Vasco da gama Passenger (Train no. 56963/56964) will be cancelled from December 24, 2017 to February 6, 2018. The cancellation has been effected due to Line Block effected at the Vasco Da Gama railway station.

Due to the same reason, the Patna-Vasco Da Gama Express (Train no. 12742) will be regulated (run slow) for 60 minutes between Majorda and Sankval stations every Monday.

Regulation

Due to line block and non-interlock work between Umardashi-Chhapi station in the Ahmedabad-Palanpur section, the Ajmer-Mysuru Express (Train no. 16209) commencing on December 22, will be regulated by an hour at the stations along the Ahmedabad Division.
