With social media, mobile phones and clouding redefining in the digital experience, the IT-BPO industry is all set to face the new challenge.

A CEO Forum organised by NASSCOM, the representative forum for IT-BPO companies, focused on how four new disruptive trends are going to impact the industry significantly. The industry leaders present dwelled at length on Big Data, Cloud, Social Media and mobile devices that were changing the way business is being done.

 “The global slowdown has not resulted in a negative trend for the IT-BPO industry. It may have just slowed the growth process. India still remains the only country to top others in this service export,” said Nitin Seth, MD, Fidelity & Co Chair, NRC Haryana. Seth also highlighted how the government could contribute to the industry at the most fundamental level of training talent to work in the industry.
