Airbus to Have Increased Presence in Aero India

BENGALURU: Global aviation major, Airbus is looking to have an increased presence in the biennial Aero India to be held next month.

The company said that their increased presence is to pursue efforts to join the ‘make in India’ campaign by PM Narendra Modi. 

“We are enthusiastic about the ‘Make in India’ campaign and are ready to leverage our existing local partnerships and invest in new ones to make the most of it. Aero India offers the perfect setting to discuss our plans to make in India with various stakeholders. We look forward to our participation in the show,” Yves Guillaume, President - India, Airbus Group said in a statement.

Airbus is looking to showcase both commercial and military technologies including aircraft, helicopters and radars among other products.
