Reliance Nippon Life's new business up 3% at Rs 169 crore in Q2

NEW DELHI: Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, a subsidiary of Reliance Capital, today said it has registered 3 per cent rise in new business to Rs 169 crore for the quarter ended September.

Assets under Management rose by 11 per cent to Rs 17,983 crore at the end of second quarter, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance said in a statement.

Individual weighted received premium rose by 4 per cent to Rs 165 crore during the quarter.

Embedded value of the company rose to Rs 3,147 crore as against Rs 3,047 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
