BANGALORE: The body of a 38-year-old marketing executive, who had committed suicide at his home in JC Nagar on Sunday was discovered on Thursday.

He has cited the harassment he received at the hands of his second wife, from whom he was separated. Syed Ahmed Maqdoom of New Delhi, is said to have been married thrice and has two kids with his second wife Muskaan and was expecting a kid with his third wife. He has stated in his death note that he wanted to teach his wife a lesson.

Accused surrender before court

Six accused in gangster Kencha’s murder surrendered before the city court on Thursday. The accused Pappai Shiva, Naveen, Byra, Guru, Ricky and Madhu were then sent to judicial custody by the court, police said. On April 6, rowdy Kencha alias Venkatesh was hacked to death by the accused in Banashankari.

Auto driver robs passenger

An auto driver is said to have robbed a techie of the goods he had shopped from a mall in Koramangala on Wednesday night. The complainant, Subrato Mukerjee of West Bengal, was returning after shopping around 8:30 pm. Subrato is said to have lost goods worth around Rs 50,000.

Businessman robbed

A cell phone store owner was allegedly robbed of his belongings worth about Rs 1 lakh on Wednesday night. Narendra Babu was about to head home after shutting his store at Rajajinagar when two men stopped him and picked up a fight with him. They abducted him, robbed him and left him near KR Puram.
