BANGALORE: K N Subba Reddy, president of Karnataka Advocates Federation (KAF), has blamed the office-bearers of the Bangalore Advocates Association for the postponement of elections to KAF.

Addressing reporters, Reddy urged that the family court, which is situated at Nyaya Degula on Siddaiah Road, should be shifted to the city civil court complex for the benefit of advocates and litigants. Reddy has also urged the government to enhance the advocate welfare fund from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and to distribute the stipend to junior advocates on time, Reddy said.
