BANGALORE: The magical and immortal songs of Mohammed Rafi was relished and re-lived by members of the Rotary Club West in Malleshwaram on Saturday. The members who are ardent fans of the legend, organises an event, Bar Bar Rafi, once in 2 months to pay tribute to their favorite cinema playback singer. Shrikanth Narayan, acknowledged by the late singer’s kin as the closest clone of his voice, was present and recreated an ambience nearly simulating Rafi’s spiritual presence.

Age had no relevance as the young and the old were humming away songs in various competitions and quizzes’ that the organizers had in mind for them. The enthusiastic lot never thought twice to sing along to their favorite and popular numbers amidst a cheering audience.
