BANGALORE: Cubbon Park police, on Thursday, arrested Shantalanagar BBMP corporator Shiva Kumar, who was absconding for over two weeks. Based on a complaint filed by city-based entrepreneur Aditya Raheja on March 29, against the corporator, his brother and associates for trespassing and causing damage to construction materials worth Rs 7 lakh, the coporator was arrested.
The complaintant stated that Shiva Kumar and his aides had barged into the site and ordered to stop the work, where Aditya Raheja is constructing a five-star hotel on Vittal Mallya Road. However, the corporator was soon released on bail.
