BANGALORE: Aradhana music festival will be organised in the memory of violin maestros late Subramanya Sastry, late Prabhakar Pathak and C V Nagaraj by Aradhana Cultural Forum from May 4 to 6, at the Sri Varapradha Lakshmivenkataramana Swamy Temple, Basaveswarnagar.

The festival will be conducted with an aim to render service in the field of music retaining some traditional practices like performances without the use of microphones, creating a unique ambience for tradition classical music.

The three-day musical festival identifies the artistes’ selfless service in the field of music, encourage young and budding artistes and at the same time bring the family members of the students, teachers and artistes together under one roof. The budding artistes are also given an opportunity to showcase their talents alongside with the renowned musicians.

This year, the organisation honours T T Srinivasan, a violinist and educationalist with ‘Kalaradhasree’ title.
