‘Akashavani Habba’ from February 12

BANGALORE: All India Radio AIR) is celebrating Akashavani Habba, a seven-day cultural extravaganza of music,  from February 12 at Kuvempu Kalakshetra. Chetan S Naik, station director said, “This is a unique experiment in the history of AIR.”  ‘Akashavani Habba’ will be held simultaneously across Karnataka. All the 13 stations in the state will celebrate this week long festival in their respective zones. The event includes Sahithya Surabha, a literary event, vocal jugalbandhi, and western music programme among others.
