Six students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet, won laurels at INOVIT 2012, a technology-based event held at VIT on January 21 and 22.
Hari Narayana, M Karthikeyan and D Chandra Mouli of Class 10 B, secured the second place with a cash award of `8,000 for their innovative working model of carbon heater and electrical pulley.
Rishabb, Aniket Murekhar and Umesh Shankar of Class 10 F1, bagged the third place in the Science Quiz competition conducted at the event.
