BANGALORE: The Indian Business School (IBS) has won awards in two categories at ECCH case awards 2012 in the city recently. The IBS Research Centre was the winner in the finance, accounting and control category for its case study on ‘Meltdown in Iceland: biggest casualty of the 2008 global financial crisis.’

The ICMR Centre for Management Research centre won the human resource management/organisational behaviour category for its case study on ‘Sony corporation-future tense?’ The winning case studies presented by IBS Research Centre focused on the 2008 Icelandic financial crisis and the reasons that led to the collapse of the banking sector.
