Workshop to train amateur actors

BANGALORE: Fourteenth acting workshop for film and theatre in Bangalore is organised by Orange Sky Productions. The workshop is held between 3 pm and 6 pm commencing from January 14, 2012, at Pitter Patter Nursery School, Koramangala. The organisation works with a diverse group of students, with or without any prior acting experience, over 10 weeks to train them as professional actors. It also expose students to different schools of acting, including method acting. The workshop begins with training the actors in speech, movement, imagination and later moves into finer details of characterization. Various topics like sensory and emotional intelligence, monologues, improvisation and dialogues are covered. Orange Sky will culminate the workshop with a camera shoot  and training on professional portfolio presentation for an actor, which gives the participants a hands-on experience of working in a professional environment.

The organisation works with a dynamic batch of students ranging over various age groups to bring a broader and enriching feel to  the experience.
