BANGALORE:  A 28-year-old man ended his life by hanging himself at his residence in Attiguppe in Chandra Layout police station limits on Tuesday.

The deceased, Renuka Prasad, 28, was a native of Gundlupet in Chamarajanagar. He was working as a supervisor at a private company.

Police said that Prasad had rented a house, where he stayed with three friends. Reportedly, on Tuesday, he did not go to work and stayed back at home.

When his friends returned home in the evening, they found him hanging from a ceiling fan. Later, they informed the matter to the police. The reason for the suicide is yet to be investigated.

Chandra Layout police have registered a case of unnatural death.

In other incident in HAL police station limits on Tuesday, Padma (22), a housewife, hanged herself at her residence at Vinayakanagar in Annasandrapalya. She was married to Sampath Kumar, an auto driver, for two years. The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained. HAL police have registered a case and are investigating.
