BANGALORE: A car driver ended his life by hanging himself at his residence in Ejipura in Viveknagar on Thursday.
Police said that the deceased, Srinivas’s wife Shobha and his son had gone to visit a temple in Tamil Nadu on January 10 and Srinivas was alone at home. On Thursday night he did not answer his wife’s phone calls. Growing suspicious, Shobha asked her neighbours to check on what had happened.
When one of the neighbours went to check, the incident came to light. The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
Viveknagar police have registered a case and are further investigating in this regard.
