BANGALORE: Now, book lovers can enjoy the best Kannada books by borrowing them at ease. Strata Retail and Technologies Services Private Limited launched its first retail Kannada library ‘Munnudi’ here at Basavangudi opposite to Krishna Rao Park in city on Friday.

The library promises convenience to book-worms with its Radio Frequency Identification Device Technology where the reader on his own can borrow the books he wishes.

The technology will show where a particular book is placed in the racks and the availability of books.

Kannada poet Jayanth Kaikini and noted lyricist who inaugurated the library, said “These kind of attractive libraries are needed to pull readers towards the books. The library is designed in a way to catch the attention of readers.”

Readers can borrow any number of books out of the total 8000 collection of best books available in Kannada, after enrolling themselves at the library by paying a nominal fee.

To give every reader a comfortable reading experience, home delivery service is also available.
