Woman Robbed of Valuables

BANGALORE: A Tripura-based lecturer, who had gone to visit her sister near Banasawadi, was robbed of `62,000 cash, voter ID card and a mobile phone by two bike-borne miscreants on Sunday. The victim  Prathimanath, 33, had gone to her sister Priyanka’s house in Kammanahalli.

On Sunday evening, the duo were going to Commercial Street. As they were waiting for an autorickshaw, two youth on a bike threatened the duo and snatched her bag that had valuables and sped away.

Banasawadi police registered a case and are further investigating.
