Shanta and Kripashankar Charitable Trust and Nehru Children’s Cultural Association jointly conducted a Bharathanatyam competition at Arulmigu Appar Swami Temple, Mylapore. Students from city schools participated. Bhargavi Kalidas, an assistant director in the Tamil film industry, and Bharathanatyam exponents Rekha Shanmugam and Lalitha Narasimhan, were the judges. Eleven students won prizes for their performance.
