Sivanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ramapuram, celebrated the 110tth birth anniversary of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu K Kamaraj (pioneer of the noon-meal scheme) as Education Improvement Day on Sunday.
On the occasion, students and staff of the school took out a rally to create awareness on the importance of education. The rally was flagged off by M Chandra Sekaran, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Valasaravakkam. School correspondent M Murugaesan welcomed the gathering. Murugaian, principal, Sivanthi College of Education, and V Selva Raj, principal, Sivanthi MHSS, participated.
