Bar raided, manager arrested

The CCB sleuths raided Love Shack Bar and Restaurant in Amarajyothi Layout and arrested its manager and two disc jockeys on Saturday. The police said the discotheque on Domlur-Koramangala Intermediate Road did not have a licence.

The arrested are identified as Abdul Rafik, 30, manager of the restaurant, Arjun, 24, and Nishant, 21, both disc jockeys. The police are on the lookout for K Ramesh, who holds the bar licence, and Tarun Arora, owner of the discotheque. Acting on a tip-off that the disco was running illegally, the police raided the place. A case has been registered at Ulsoor police station.
