Siddaganga Seer inaugurates blood donation camp

Siddaganga Mutt pontiff Shivakumara Swamiji on Wednesday inaugurated a blood donation camp organised by Aashara Foundation,where meritorious students at government institutions and who belonged to economically weaker section of the society were felicitated.

Excise Minister Renukacharaya, Mayor D Venkatesh Murthy and MLA K J George were present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Excise Minister Renukacharaya said, “Many good people offer selfless services to the society. Aashara Foundation under the guidance of K V Satish, is doing that with a sense of corporate social responsibility.”

Shivakumar Swamiji said, “Children who receive sponsorship have to reach great heights, only then, the purpose of the programme will be fulfilled. I wish that this foundation will get a special place in the hearts of people. The foundation is revolutionising the society through education.”

Thanking all the employees, K V Satish said, “I ran away from home in Vizag post my education and created this empire which has Rs 50 crore turnover annually. I thought I should give something back to the society which has been kind to me. Hence, through charity our dedicated team helps the poor and needy.”
