BANGALORE:  Two constables who suffered injuries during the lawyers’ riots on the City Civil Court premises in the city on Friday are said to be out of danger. Head Constable Narayanaswamy who had suffered head injury and Constable A Chandrappa who was injured in neck and head were admitted to NIMHANS for treatment.

Speaking to Express Dr V L Satish, Medical Superintendent of NIMHANS, said that the condition of both  patients was stable but they would still be under observation for some more time.

“According to the repeated CT scan on them, there will be no need of surgery. However, the surgeons will have to review the case once again and depending on their condition, they will be discharged on Sunday,” he added.

Both of them were rushed to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital which later referred them to NIMHANS.

Besides, one advocate got him discharged from HOSMAT Hospital against medical advice.

Meanwhile, some more persons visited to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital for minor injuries and treated in the out patient section.
