BANGALORE: Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was remembered on his 35th birth anniversary held in the city on Thursday. Justice S B Majage, Upa Lokayukta, unveiled a wooden braille of Sandeep Unnikrishnan on the event.
“When he passed away, we had three options in front of us. Firstly, to kill ourselves, secondly, to stay away from any activity related to Sandeep, and thirdly, to live with pride and remember him uniquely. We chose the third path,” said K Unnikrishnan, Sandeep’s father.
More than 400 students took part in the celebration held at Sandeep’s house.
