BANGALORE: Upset over marital discord, a 27-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Kumaraswamy Layout on Saturday.
The deceased, Lalitha, a native of Bhatkal in Udupi district was married to Ram Kishore, a businessman. The couple lived in the city for five years.
According to police, Lalitha had hanged herself from a saree. Her husband found her body hanging from the ceiling fan at around 6 pm. He informed the police. Kumaraswamy Layout police registered a case.
