Worker Injured at Metro Site

BANGALORE: A Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) worker was injured while doing the jet grouting work for the UG works of south ramp on K R Road on Monday.

Puli Singh, 25, from Chattisgarh had his right hand shoulder severely damaged with the hand getting stuck to the jet grouting machine. The incident occurred around 10.30 am and he was rushed to KIMS Hospital immediately.  

According to a BMRCL statement, the doctors at KIMS  have operated upon him and he is said be in a stable condition. Further investigation is in progress.
