Pact with Maverick Opposed

BANGALORE: Councillors on Wednesday opposed the renewal of the agreement with Maverick Holdings Pvt  Ltd.  Shantalanagar Councillor K Shivakumar alleged that the company has failed to follow the agreement and had encroached storm water drain, which had resulted in flooding during monsoons.

Also, he added that no action was taken so far in this connection.  

Hanumanthanagar Councillor Chandrashekhar alleged that it had used the parking space for commercial purposes and yet BBMP had not initiated action. Nandini Layout Councillor M Nagaraj sought auction of the property, instead of renewing the agreement.

Commissioner M K  Shankarlinge Gowda said he had asked  the TVCC  and another team under JC (East) to prepare a report.
