BANGALORE: Jiddu Krishnamurti foundation will conduct a residential workshop on the subject ‘What is a religious mind?’ from April 7 to 9, at Valley School Campus,
Kanakapura road.
During the gathering, the participants would get an opportunity to intensely examine, question and explore many important aspects and dimensions of human life.
Speaking about the event Krishnamurti said “Self-knowledge, that is, to learn about oneself is the first intelligent action of a human being and therefore the beginning of the
transformation.”
Looking forward to attend the gathering, Vishwanath from Wipro said, “I am looking forward to get an insight about the world around us in general. While one may not get an easy answers,
but the interaction with other participants of considerable intellect, understanding and interesting perspectives is what never ceases to
amaze me.”
Speaking about the event, Sowmya a Physical fitness trainer said, “The purpose
of such gatherings is to make us aware of our own selves.”
She added, “We may not have introspected ourselves many a times, but this provides a platform to
question ourselves.”
The gathering aims to provide the right atmosphere and space where one
can understand and learn about oneself.
It also provides forum to inquire into one’s thought patterns and to deeply
understand the nature and workings of one’s
mind which is constantly
shaping and determining one’s outward actions.
