CIT signs pact with HTT

Chennai Institute of Technology, Kundrathur, signed a MoU with Huo Shaungning, president of Hochent Tool Technology (HTT), China, at a ceremony held on the college premises on March 22.

The main objectives of this MoU are to allow active participation of students in research and consultancy, to expose students to real-time industrial processes, to involve them in consultancy jobs, to form a committee comprising representatives from HTT and CIT to formulate a special curriculum and to train the trainers.

Dr P L N Ramesh, principal, CIT, welcomed the HTT team while the presidential address was given by CIT chairman Sriram and the special address by Huo Shaungning. K V Subbha Rao, Anand Gattu and R Kangwu from HTT participated in the function.
