BBMP scam: Case adjourned

The High Court on Friday adjourned the case for two weeks after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted the investigation documents related to the misappropriation of funds in BBMP.

The alleged irregularities is estimated to the tune of `1,539 crore in three constituencies- Gandhinagar, Malleswaram and Rajarajeshwarinagar.

The counsel said CID was investigating the case and would submit a report after the investigations were completed.

Hearing the submission, Justice Ram Mohan Reddy adjourned the petition filed by B G Prakash Kumar and four engineers, who have sought criminal proceedings against the accused.

The court adjourned the case for two weeks for further hearing.
