Student’s rape: Report sent to FSL

The doctors of Vani Vilas Hospital have sent the reports of the NLSIU student who was allegedly raped on Jnana Bharathi campus to Forensic Science Laboratory.

The doctors of Vani Vilas Hospital have sent the reports of the NLSIU student who was allegedly raped on Jnana Bharathi campus to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Speaking to Express Dr Pramila, medical officer, Vani Vilas Hospital, said, “I have examined the victim’s case and sent the preliminary report to FSL for further examination. The FSL report will be handed over to the police.” On Monday, the victim visited the hospital for medical tests.

She was accompanied by her friends and college staff. When Express tried to speak to the victim, her friends said, “We have given our statements to the police. There is nothing to share with the media.”
