The interrogation of the 14 terror suspects arrested by the CCB is in its final stages.
“We have gathered crucial information from the accused in the last 25 days,” a source said. They said 13 suspects would be produced before a magistrate on Thursday when the period of their police custody ends. The other suspect, Dr Nayueem Siddique, will be produced before a magistrate on October 1.
The police plan to seek an extension of the police custody of two-three suspects. The other suspects may be remanded in judicial custody. “As per procedure all the suspects are being subjected to medical tests once in 48 hours,” a source said.
