For him, even at 72 martial arts is a passion

Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan have amazed us with their skills. Akshay Kumar probably never could reach their status, but somewhere in a corner house of JP Nagar 1st Phase, S K Murthy has been creating martial arts experts for over 42 years. Today, at 72, this stenographer who was working in a big company also trained Army personnel at the AEC Centre in Bangalore between 1994 and 98, master Murthy is also known to be the most senior martial art expert in India.   

His styles bring out lot of emphasis which appears to be effortless in movements. Master Murthy is the founder of dynamic Jujutsu, dynamic Aiki Jujutsu, Oriental Kobudo  weapons and Samurai battlefield weapons. “My simple philosophy is to fight to live and live to fight,” he says. Today he teaches top CEOs and MDs in Bangalore. He says, “I charge very high and so I take very limited people.”

Master Murthy charges around Rs 5000 per month.

It is not an easy technique to learn Dynamic Samurai Martial Arts, “One has to develop alertness, presence of mind, fast reaction, common sense, courage and confidence. One needs to calm his mind and  only think about dedication, devotion, involvement and self-discipline.

Today Master Murthy possesses around 800 DVDs from across the world and several books to refer.

Master Murthy is a bachelor. He says, “Back then I realised that one should marry only when they are financially sound. That was my case too. Though I am not a family man, I have counselled  many families.”
