The Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested six youths on charges of planning to murder, and also rob people in Basaveshwaranagar.
Chandrashekar alias Chandru (22), Uday (20), Prasanna Kumar all residents of Kanakapura Main Road, Praveen (21), S Muniraju (22) from Dasarahalli and Gagan (19) from Kanakapura main road are identified as the accused. The police recovered a Toyota Corolla car, button knife, two swords and a machete from the accused. Chandrashekar is already facing an attempt to murder charge in Kaggalipura police station, and another accused Muniraju is facing a case of attempt to robbery charge in Byatarayanapura police station.
