The High Court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of a man who was arrested on charges of allegedly killing his wife for dowry by setting her ablaze in March.
On February 25, following a quarrel, Venkatesha allegedly slashed Ashwini’s hand and then poured kerosene on her, before setting her ablaze. Ashwini succumbed to her injuries on March 19.
