Milk Supply Won't Be Hit, Assures KMF

BANGALORE: Karnataka Milk Federation and its affiliated milk unions have announced the ongoing protest by some vendors will not affect milk supply. In the interest of consumers and dairy farmers, they have taken alternate steps to ensure no disruption in supply, they said.

A KMF press release stated that over 144 Nandini outlets in the city will be stocked with extra supply of milk from 5 am to 11 pm every day. Over 100 mobile milk distribution vans will cater to consumers in Bangalore all through the day. Toll-free helplines 18004256168 (Bangalore Dairy) and 18004250175 (Mother Dairy) have also been set up. All stores and parlours have been stocked with sufficient supply of Goodlife milk and Nandini milk powder, the release said.
