The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) published a provisional list of candidates selected for 362 Gazetted Probationer Group A and B posts from the scam-hit 2011 batch, on Wednesday.
The 2011 KPSC recruitment was marred by large-scale irregularities and an inquiry by the Criminal Investigation Department found that the recruitment that year was rigged by officials with the help of middlemen.
The provisional selection list, which can be accessed at www.kpsc.kar.nic.in, is subject to the decision of the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal, which is hearing 23 cases, and the outcome of a writ petition before the High Court.
The provisional results are based on the written examination and personality test. Gowrav Kumar Shetty from Kundapur, Udupi, has been selected for Assistant Commissioner’s (Group A) post with 1,259 marks, followed by Vandana Bhat S A from Basavangudi, with 1,256 marks.
The KPSC has invited objections from candidates likely to be affected within 15 days. Any objections should be addressed to the KPSC Secretary, Udyoga Soudha, Bangalore - 1.
