NBA Accredits BMSCE Programmes

BENGALURU: City-based educational institution BMS College of Engineering on Monday announced that the engineering programmes of the college have been endorsed in the Tier-1 category by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), recognised under the Washington Accord.

Making the announcement, Chairman, BMS College of Engineering P Dayananda Pai said, “Being accredited by NBA is a feather in the cap of BMSCE.” The accreditation makes BMSCE one of the first institutions in India to be given the recognition, claimed college officials.

This will help students to opt for higher studies and acquire better jobs in countries part of the Washington Accord. Students will also benefit from credit transfer on mutual consent basis with other Tier-1 colleges which can lead to more opportunities for them to study in 20 countries including UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Taiwan, South Africa and New Zealand.
