A Different Diwali for Students of Narayana E-Techno School

CHENNAI: The staff and students of Narayana E-Techno School, Arumbakkam, celebrated Diwali in a different way this year. They decided to display their benevolence and generosity by extending support to the less privileged. 

They contributed `30,000 for the Diwali fund raiser. A part of it was donated for the Hudhud victims to Prime Minister’s relief fund. The remaining amount was distributed to different orphanages. Basic necessities like bedsheets were bought and distributed. Sweets and crackers were also distributed to the children in the orphanages. The happiness on the faces of those children gave immense satisfaction to all.

Some amount was used to sponsor breakfast and lunch on the day. The students of the school experienced the joy of giving.
