HC Miffed With Delay in Appointment

BENGALURU: The High Court on Wednesday took exception to the delay in the appointment of Karnataka Administrative Tribunal chairman.

Hearing a PIL, the division bench of acting Chief Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee and Justice B V Nagarathna, expressed displeasure over the delay as the litigants were suffering. In reply, Assistant Solicitor General Krishna S Dixit sought four weeks’ time.

The case was adjourned for six weeks. The PIL was filed by advocate D Pavanesh and four others.
