THINGS YOU NEED
(optional)
HOW TO
STEP1
Tie an embroidery thread to the hoop.
STEP 2
To wind the thread around the hoop, form a loop and then take the loose end from inside it so that a knot is
formed.
STEP3
Keep repeating the process so that the hoop iscovered in thread. Snip off the excess thread.
STEP4
Using another piece of embroidery thread, tie a knot on one end of the hoop.
STEP 5
Wind the thread around the hoop, but while doing so ensure that it is a little far away. Coverthe hoop for the first layer. For this process you do not need to tie a knot, just wind it.
STEP 6
For the second layer pass the thread through the first knot by taking it from below then take it out from above. Repeat the process but this time take the thread out through the second knot. If you wish to put some beads then before winding the thread between the knots, pass a bead to that it dangles in between. Keep repeating the process with or without beads till you reach the centre. Then tie a knot and snip off the excess thread.
STEP 7
You are done. But if you want, you can add a few charms to the finished product. For a bigger dreamcatcher, you can use a hoop and instead of using embroidery thread, you can use a leather cord or wool. And do remember to attach feathers at the end.
