'Marvels of Karnataka' Released

BENGALURU: Tourism Minister R V Deshpande on Wednesday released ‘Marvels of Karnataka’, a photo book highlighting the history, heritage, natural attractions and architecture of the state.

The 160-page book, which comprises 120 photographs, is edited by Raintree Media  managing director Sandhya Mendonca. “The book explores the state like never before. It is packed with information about where to go, what to eat and how to get there,” she said.

Deshpande said the government was committed to reforms in the tourism sector. ITC Windsor’s Hotel Dakshin will organise a food festival till February 1.

The festival will offer dishes that have been featured in the book.
