- Ingredients
- Kabuli chana 2 cups boiled
- Garlic cloves 1 no peeled
- Lemon juice 3 tsp
- Tahini paste 2 tbsp
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
- Ice cubes ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Topping
- Lamb boneless 200 gm chopped
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder a pinch
- Allspice powder a pinch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pine nuts 2 tbsp toasted
- Parsley 1 tsp chopped
- Keep some chickpeas for garnish and blend all the ingredients in a food processor to get a smooth paste, adding oil gradually
- Check for seasoning
- In a pan, sauté lamb, adding spices and seasonings
- Place in a serving platter
- Garnish with chickpeas, cooked lamb, chopped parsley and pine nuts
- Pita bread could be served as an accompaniment
