BENGALURU:Upa Lokayukta Justice Subhash B Adi on Tuesday sought a report from commissioners of Bengaluru Development Authority and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike on the total amount spent for filling potholes and the proposed amount to be spent for the same. They have been asked to submit a report by October 9.  Justice Adi issued the direction after receiving a complaint from a social worker, Sai Dattha.

“I am informed that last year, to improve road conditions by filling potholes, the government had sanctioned Rs 1,000 crore. The BBMP had promised that all the potholes in Bengaluru would be filled by the end of May 2015, however, there was no progress,” Justice Adi said in the notice.
