A simple dessert recipe that can change the way you indulge yourself
- Red wine 5oo ml
- Bartlett pear 2
- Arugula lettuce 200 gm mixed with lemon vinaigrette dressing (25 ml)
- Peel and core the pears
- Cut into half
- Pour red wine into a pan and soak pears in it
- Keep it cooking on very slow flame (poaching) till pear gets tender from inside
- Let it cool, slice thin and place it on arugula lettuce
- Blue cheese 50 gm
- Sour cream 200 ml
- Salt a few pinches
- Crumble blue cheese very fine
- Take sour cream in a bowl and mix it with blue cheese seasoning and drizzle it on top of the pear slices.
