Express News Service

BENGALURU:  We are at a junction where society can be built again, felt filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra here on Sunday. He spoke during the last day of Vista, a three-day international business summit organised at the Indian Institute of Management (IIMB).

“We are now at a place from where we can build something new — in terms of cinema, in terms of society,” he said. Earlier, Mehra walked the audience through a montage of trailers and excerpts from four of his films.

The Public Policy Club of IIM Bangalore organized the Model United Nations (MUN), a two-day event which saw delegates from all over the country. According to the organisers, this was the first time the IIMB had organized a MUN during Vista. The event witnessed the participation of a total of 220 delegates representing over 70 countries in six committees.
