Express News Service

BENGALURU: The official website of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences was allegedly hacked on Thursday morning.

University registrar-evaluation Dr Sachidanand has filed a complaint with the cyber crime police. According to the information available from the university, only the examination section page of the website was hacked.

“After the page was hacked, students panicked that their results might have been altered. But only the exam application section was hacked. We have retrieved everything. There is no problem now,” Sachidanand said.

He explained that the university had purchased a new web server and the same was on pilot test when the hacking was reported. “We were doing a trial run on the new server when it was hacked. Now, we are using a different one. Results have not been tampered with,” he stated.
