BENGALURU: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited on Friday called for tenders in connection with Phase-II’s Electronics City route.

According to the notification updated on its website, the tender is for construction of elevated structures running 6.418 km from Bommasandra to Hosa Road station, including depot entry line to Hebbagodi depot. The tender relates to road widening and allied works on this stretch.

The works involve construction of five Metro stations — Bommasandra, Hebbagodi, Huskur
Road, Electronic City-II and Electronic City-I on Reach-5 line of Phase-2

BMRCL Managing Director Pradeep Singh Kharola said that works relating to Phase-II “were proceeding quickly and Friday’s tender is a move in this direction.”
