Women Alleges Gang-rape in Bengaluru

A 36-year-old woman was allegedly raped by  three men including a member of Grama Panchayath at her house in HSR Layout in the city.

BENGALURU: A 36-year-old woman was allegedly raped by  three men including a member of Grama Panchayath at her house in HSR Layout in the city.

In her  complainant, the woman alleged that the  accused sexually assaulted her in front of her son and taped the same in their mobile camera.

The police said that the woman was separated from her husband and  has been living  in HSR Layout along with her son. In her complaint she stated to the police on Sunday Grama Panchayath member

Santhosh Reddy and two of his friends barged into the house and raped her in front of her 14-year-old son. One of them recorded  it in his mobile phone and later escaped.

Based on the complaint Reddy was arrested by HSR Layout police and further investigations are on.

It is also said that Reddy and his family members had assaulted the woman who allegedly had an affair with Reddy's bother.  Later she approached the police and filed a case of gang-rape. Investigation is on.
